The Nike SB Dunk Low Civilist is proof that Nike SB did not play it safe in 2020. This release marked the second time The Swoosh had collaborated with Berlin-based skate shop and brand, Civilist, as the two previously worked on a Dunk High back in 2013.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Civilist packs a huge surprise into a low-cut silhouette. The sneaker features, what at first looks like, an entirely black upper. But when the sneaker is hit by any high-temperature source, it morphs into a cornucopia of color. Shades of blue, red, green, and yellow appear on the heat-sensitive upper material, adding more layers than expected.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Civilist dropped in August of 2020 for $110.
